Tonight is a night for hygge. I'm about to start lighting crackling candles, making a warm drink, curling up on the sofa with a soft blanket and my cat.

It's been a difficult day, emotionally, here in the US and it's wearing on me how many of them we have lately. So tonight is about self care, love, kindness and well wishes to my fellow humans.

Hello! I'm opening commissions for a bit so I can get my car fixed! I really really need it right now as I'm looking to get a job elsewhere since the environment has become quite abusive toward me and my manager(we're only a team of two).

Right now, I'm underpaid and overworked as an accountant and it has been taking a toll on my mental health these last few months. I'll be offering limited slots for now. It will be $25 for avatars and $75 for waist up shots. Full resolution, and you also receive a transparent file.

If you're interested, please let me know, otherwise, here's the link: goo.gl/forms/qwULOifjx29G7YZs2

@jillybobww Have you gone back to Twitter? I haven't yet; I'm kind of enjoying the break. But there are parts I miss. I don't follow enough people here yet to make it as engaging, though I've been trying!

I was just wondering where you were at with it.

roses are red
violets are blue
in surveillance capitalism
poem reads you

and shows you ads
for flower shops
and tracks your clicks
and never stops

it cares not about
if privacy's harmed
the money is green
when people are farmed

twitter is cyan
facebook is blue
your friends are the product
and so are you

A pretty kitty to share this Saturday night. She's not mine, but I'm watching her for a few days. kitty.town/media/UT4FZWlI4bkdM

Oh, hey, here's some good news - there's a new law in CA that:

1. employers cannot ask prospective employees their prior salary information
2. employers must, upon asking, provide a salary range for the job in question

This is very good for employees, as they now have better information to work with.

If you are going back to Twitter, take my story with you. โค It's ongoing and I'm always looking for help.

My boy, Finn, pretending that he's still a teeny, tiny lap kitten. (Total optical illusion. He's huge.)
