@GinnyMcQueen I'm outraged that people are proudly touting a "solution" that makes the problem worse instead of better.

I was also already outraged that we don't have universal healthcare yet, that certain major candidates who were supposedly on "our side" didn't support this, and that someone most of us voted for nearly a decade ago took even a single-payer *option* off the table.

My outrage is spread a bit thin, but it (much like Kosh) has always been there.

@GinnyMcQueen So, I work in healthcare and genuinely agree with your points and feel empathy toward your health issues.

The only thing I can add is that working in my field, I've come across a scary high number of people do not understand their own healthcare or insurance and have never made an effort to. Let alone bothered to think about someone else's. I'm not surprised there's surprise. Just sad and frustrated.
