@GinnyMcQueen tbh if you added on to this new members getting randomly assigned to one of the allied instances in order to split server loads and prevent any one from becoming the "main" instance this would probably solve a bunch of issues.
@GinnyMcQueen The main problem is that the software isn't built for that. It'd need something like a block list voting/synchronisation feature.
@GyrosGeier With a few of us, we can just share our block lists once a day. We don't have to wait for the tech to catch up.

@GinnyMcQueen that's pretty much what we've already been doing, blocking instances that aren't compatible with our CoC as soon as we know it.
That recent drama was specific in the fact that it was actually surprising and we're still arguing about it between instance admins, don't get a bad impression from that, many small instances care.
