@ghostcommie okay my memory is not great, but as I remember it, the cybre.space admin later apologised for this and said he had fallen for the lies spread by the abusers that (apparently successfully) tried to frame Ginny as the real baddy, or something. (And undid the silence.)

It's up to you who you can trust obviously, and this is all buried under months of toots. To me this looked like an honest mistake and cybre.space still like a good instance.

@Canageek The screenshot/thread is there. Because of speaking out against the harassment I was receiving, I was targeted by that admin.

We have never had a problem with users on that instance, but their admin personally sent abuse my way and that is not someone I would trust to run something I was apart of.

@GinnyMcQueen @Canageek if I might interject, I feel that the cybre.space moderator's precipitant decision to block the entire kitty.town instance because of his personal beef with @GinnyMcQueen is, in itself, unprofessional enough to flag cybre.space as dubious.

@abgd They don't ban all harassers, as that link will show you. People came into Masto thinking everyone here is strict on abuse, and that is not the case. I'm just showing examples of that so people can be more aware when they choose an instance/admin.

@mona @GinnyMcQueen That is fair. Saw some tweets connected with that, should have looked into it. At least migrating accounts isn't hard. I'll probably go join my girlfreind on wandering.shop, it seems more active anyway.

@LogicalDash If you think what that person posted and the subsequent garbage abuse I got because he posted that isn't targeted abuse, that's on you. Shaming women for calling out harassment is harassment.
