i’m not receiving notifications from certain people? i don’t have them muted or anything to my knowledge
anyone know why this would occur?

@gingerrroot Oh yeah we have ALWAYS had a problem with getting their stuff to show up for some reason. I've pinged @hugo a couple times about it, but we have never figured it out.

@gingerrroot @GinnyMcQueen Yep, I don't see any unusual errors in the logs related to that instance.
It could be just delayed or something may be wrong on their end, can't really pin point the issue.

@Laurelai @gingerrroot I just handle the hosting and from my end I can’t find a reason why your instances are not communicating. Don’t believe your instance is suspended or @GinnyMcQueen would have mentioned it.
As @eloisa mentioned on Masto.pt we receive notifications from you and Masto.pt and Kitty.town use the same server cloud + settings. Do you get kitty.town posts in your federated timeline?
@hugo @gingerrroot @GinnyMcQueen @eloisa Yes i do. And when i reply to ginny, then open her post in its own tab my replies never show up, someone told me this is the behavior if an instance has you silenced or suspended
@Laurelai @gingerrroot @eloisa well it could be a technical issue but maybe @GinnyMcQueen could confirm there are no suspension in place before we dig any deeper.
@Laurelai @eloisa @GinnyMcQueen I was not sure but I just confirmed that if your instance was suspended, you wouldn't see the public toots in your federated timeline.

ok, people, last idea on my hat: do any of you have locked accounts? Could this be the root of the issue, since after a follow it started working as it should..?
