use hashtags for special interests or hobbies or whatever you're into, as they're pretty useful to help connect each other.

also for newcomers:
content warnings are a built in function that are pretty important.
common CW include:
-politics
-blood/gore
-food
-sexual content/lewd content
-sexual violence (rape, stalking, abuse, etc.)
-triggering content related to racism, transmisogyny, antisemitism and other bigotries
-suicide /and other potentially triggering mental health issues
make sure to read your instances COC to see if they have specific requirements for this!
in addition, we also have picture descriptions / captioning built-in!
you can, and should, enter a description of the images you post (even #selfies!). sometimes this can feel weird and difficult, especially if you're not used to it
but much like content warnings, even a small bit of information is better than none at all!
