Happy Founder's Day!
Today is one year since Kitty.Town was created!
It was this time last year that our admin was harassed off of Mastodon.Social (just months after being harassed off of Twitter), pushing them to create an instance that puts the safety of its community first.
It's been a fight to survive every day, but our members are an amazing and talented group of anti-fascist, empathy-minded misfits who we couldn't be more grateful for.

What the heck is Kitty.Town?
Kitty.Town was founded May 1st, 2017 on the concepts of kindness, empathy, and putting general goodness out into the world. We are a small, invite-only Mastodon instance created to provide a space free of abuse in response to other instances' tolerance of hate speech and harassment.
