Hey folks! How's it going tonight?
I visited Nashville last week. My cousins there are 9 and 12 years old. They both go to public schools that are fully immersive bilingual. They do math problems, write essays, and do history projects in Spanish. It's so cool!
But California, the state I'm from, which is 38% Spanish-speaking, refuses to fund a program like this. Wtf?? It would be so useful for the kids here. Not only would they be prepped for the job market, learning a 2nd language improves learning aptitude across the board.
